ESTABLISHING HOPE COMMUNITY NUTRITION UNIT

HCH Ministries plans to Establish a NUTRITION UNIT at Hope Community Centre, which will be the Hub for the Design and Implementation of NUTRITION Programs targeting:
STUNTED CHILDREN under 5 years
PREGNANT and LACTATING Mothers
The ELDERLY and SENIOR Citizen, especially those with Chronic Diseases
The SICK and CONVALESCENT Patients
The Nutrition Programs of Stunted Children under 5 years, Pregnant Mothers and Breast- feeding Mothers will be mounted at Hope Community Nutrition Unit; in collaboration with

the Health Workers of the neighbouring Health Centre; the Local Authorities of the area; Representatives of Women Associations; and other Development Partners involved in Community Nutrition Programs. This joint collaboration among different stakeholders will enable to roll out the Nutrition Programs progressively to neighboring villages, with the aim of Combating Child Stunting and Malnutrition in Local Communities.
