ESTABLISHING HOPE COMMUNITY SHELTER – Giving Hope to the Hopeless

The SHELTER will be the wing of Hope Community Centre that will accommodate:
Orphans
Street Children under rehabilitation
Children who need Special Needs Education and Training
All the vulnerable children catered for at the shelter will be provided with:
a) Shelter Provisions: Accommodation; Meals; Clothing's; Sanitary requirements; etc.
b) Educational Facilities – in collaboration with a Neighboring Nursery/ Primary School. All Scholastic Requirements (Educational Fees; School Uniforms; School Martials) will be provided to the children by Hope Shelter. The children will also receive Empowerment Training; Counseling; Talent Development Sessions.
c) Health Facilities – in collaboration with a neighboring Health Centre. At a later stage, The Shelter will have a Sick Bay and a Resident Medical Officer and a Nurse to care for the health of the children at the Shelter as well as those catered for by Hope Community Centre in general.
d) Skills Development and Empowerment Training – for Older children living in the shelter: will be done on the Main Campus of Hope Community Training and Skills Development Centre with other Vocational Trainees.
e) Recreational Facilities – for all children living in the shelter: will be provided by the main campus of Hope Community Training Centre.
